Disc Dog Camps in Minnesota and Oregon Summer 2011

Pawsitive Vybe has hooked up with the Minnesota Disc Dog Club and also the Flying Disc Dogs of Oregon for Disc Dog Camp this summer.

MNDDC Camp

Over Memorial Day Weekend, we will be at a super-secret Minnesotan location, only known to last year’s Camp participants and to others on a need to know basis. The Second Annual MNDDC Pawsitive Vybe Camp takes place May 26-30th. More information can be found at the MN Disc Dog Club Forum.

Camp Eugene

Two weeks later we’ll be out on the Left Coast in Eugene, OR for a camp with the Flying Disc Dogs of Oregon. Camp dates are June 16th-20th. If you have local Questions, contact Kris, for PVybe Questions Click here.

Get to The Point – Tipping Point Campaign

These camps are being crowdfunded with ThePoint.com. We have a single campaign set up for these 2 camps. It is a tipping point campaign, which means that camp participants hold their spot with a credit or bank card, until the campaign target is met.  Cards are not charged until the campaign tips, or hits it’s goal.

The MN and OR Disc Dog Camp campaign will run until April 15th.

Costs

Tipping Point Participants

  • Camp $300
  • Daily Working Spot $100
  • Audit $50

Post Tipping Point

People who were unable to participate in the Tipping Point campaign will still be able to register, but there will be increased costs:

  • Camp $350
  • Daily Working Spot $125
  • Audit $65

Throwing With Intent

Throwing with Intent is throwing a disc to your dog with the intent to make them look good. Throwing the disc to promote a big leap, to hit the dog in stride on the run or throwing a disc that your dog is going to flip for 10 yards away, is the sign of a mature handler.

Responses

  1. Would it be possible to audit Saturday and Sunday of the Oregon camp? Is there an schedule posted anywhere?

    Thanks!

    1. Yes, Katie! Auditing is available.
I was supposed to have posted a tentative schedule and camp info for both camps, but things have been rather crazy with our relocation troubles.
Hit me up via the contact page and I’ll get you some info: http://pvybe.com/contact/

      Peace,
      Ron
