A Fidget is a simple hand skill with a disc.
Usually consisting of some kind of butterfly or rolling movement over and around the hand, Fidgets help handlers become more familiar and comfortable with flying discs and also makes handlers look cool.
Fidgets can add flash to the simplest of tricks and will be scored well by most judges.
Fidgets often catch themselves. One of the leading causes of fidget failure is actively trying to catch the disc. Don’t do it. Most fidgets roll into the catch on their own. Trying to catch them breaks the mechanics and makes success nearly impossible.
Get the fidget moving and then wait for it to catch itself. When it does, squeeze your hand. Voila! It’s like magic.
