Well, the Spooky Jam is in the books. Here are the results. A day late, sorry bout that… my bad…

We’ll need everybody who submitted videos’ address so we can send you some schwag for participating. You four wieners down there… we’ll need your address and contact info as well. Facebook, contact here on site, email… whatever’s easiest guys…

Thanks so much to all the participants and voters. It was a lot of fun both putting this on and putting together our videos. Thanks a bunch for helping to make this silly little contest. I don’t know about you, but I’ve already hatched a few plans for Spooky Jam 2011. 357 days ’til the intern falls… muhahahaha… etc.

Patron’s Choice: Shaping a Leaping Catch | Creating a Late Read

Reading the disc is a skill that astute dogs and humans pick up rather quickly. The float, the spin, and the speed can reliably be gauged and predicted after several reps. Of course this changes with wind, disc choice, and throwing ability but, generally speaking, the flight path of a disc is easily predicted.

    I cry tomfoolery. Recount the ballots! OK fine. The winners were very deserving 😉 and loved seeing everyones videos. Andrea and I had a great time participating.
