It’s Tipped! PVybe Disc Dog Camps in MN and OR

Well we’ve passed the tipping point on our MN and OR Disc Dog Camp campaign. Additional tams will be able to take advantage of the campaign discount until 12AM on the 15th.
We are super excited to be making this trip and are very thankful to all of the people who signed up early to make these Camps a reality. Hat tip to the MN Disc Dog Club and the FLYDO crew.

Disc Dog Camps in Minnesota and Oregon Summer 2011

Pawsitive Vybe has hooked up with the Minnesota Disc Dog Club and also the Flying Disc Dogs of Oregon for Disc Dog Camp this summer.
MNDDC Camp
Over Memorial Day Weekend, we will be at a super-secret Minnesotan location, only known to last year’s Camp participants and to others on a need to know basis. The Second Annual MNDDC Pawsitive Vybe Camp takes place May 26-30th. More information can be found at the MN Disc Dog Club Forum.
Camp Eugene
Two weeks later we’ll be out on the Left Coast in Eugene, OR for a camp with the Flying Disc Dogs of Oregon. Camp dates are June 16th-20th. If you have local Questions, contact Kris, for PVybe Questions Click here.

Disc Dog Camp Last Minute Checklist

Hey everybody!
Camp is upon us… Hope you’re all ready.
Here’s a last minute checklist of things you and your pup will need for camp:

Water from Home – When you are traveling with your dogs for extended periods of time, it’s a good idea to bring your own water. Hotels and different regions of the country have different trace elements in the water. It’s a good practice to bring your own water to ensure that your dog is healthy and happy.
That ought to do it.

Disc Dog Camp Menu

Hey everybody!
We’ve got our menu together for Disc Dog Camp and with the help of @Turnadaisy – http://turnadaisy.com and Deb Stout of DogNabit – the Lucky Dog Bakery, we’ve got the following food stylings for all of our campers:
Wed – Burgers by Pawsitive Vybe
Thurs – Spaghetti by Turnadaisy
Friday – Tacos by DogNabIt
Sat – Grillin’ at the Lake
Sun – Brunch by Pawsitive Vybe
We will be providing a Continental Breakfast daily and Dinner. Campers are responsible for their own lunch (Grill Available) – a holdover from the Disc Dog Bed & (get your own damn) Breakfast. Munchies – Chips & Dip, Hummus & Pitas and Finger Sandwiches will be readily available as well.
We’ll be putting out a last minute checklist of things to bring ASAP…
We are all very excited and look forward to a great week of Disc Dogging with you.
West Coast Swing

We’re thinking about loading up the entire Pawsitive Vybe pack for a West Coast Swing in the July/August timeframe. We’re still in the planning stages, but have been chatting with some crazy dog people we know out there and it looks as if we can pull it off.
We’re planning on 2 seminars in each city, a day of Disc Dogging and a day of Canine Concepts, Pawsitive Vybe’s unique take on Positive Training.
Apryl and I will also be available for small group personals: Jam Sessions, Sport Evaluations, Behavioral Consults and Canine Concept lessons in the seminar cities and anywhere within 50 miles of our route.

What Can I expect to Learn at a Pawsitive Vybe Disc Dog Seminar?
Tough Question.
You can expect to learn a ton about throwing, handling and playing the game of disc with your dog. There is no set schedule in our seminars – learning takes place a bit more organically. Essentially we’re approaching teaching seminar participants the same way we approach our dog training:
